To €75,000 DOE + Transport + Competitive Package Our client is an established main contractor working across Europe specialising in the delivery of construction and engineering projects on behalf of global blue-chip clients. They offer a full turnkey service for their clients from design, construction, and handover across the full range of CSA (civil, structural, architectural), MEP (mechanical and electrical) and commissioning works. The need now exists for an experienced Electrical Lead to work on projects within various sectors such as Data Centres, Life Sciences, Advanced Technology, and Fire Protection. As Electrical Lead you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems with a strong focus on high-performance design, energy efficiency, and quality standards while ensuring compliance with safety standards, codes, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities and Requirements: Lead the design, development, and review of electrical systems ensuring alignment with overall project timelines. Collaborate with contract managers, project managers, and other engineering leads to integrate electrical systems seamlessly within project scopes. Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications and provide input when required during the design phase to optimise electrical system. Oversee quality assurance and control for electrical designs, from concept through construction, commissioning, and client handover. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, standards, health and safety, and industry best practices. Participate in project planning, budget allocation, and resource management to achieve project milestones efficiently. Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers and designers, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and results. Act as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, communicating technical information and project progress effectively. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 5+ years’ experience in Electrical Engineering within construction with focus on large installations, design and build and a good knowledge in both mechanical and electrical system Strong knowledge of procurement, scheduling, programming, and sequencing. Strong proficiency in electrical design software and tools. Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. Benefits: Competitive salary package.
